Women@Work revs it up a gear for Christmas at Landrover Experience Networking Event.

The Aire-Valley professional networking group Women@Work held their final event of 2015 at Landrover Experience North Yorkshire located on the beautiful grounds of the Broughton Hall Estate.

Welcoming the guests yesterday lunchtime were co-organisers Elizabeth Smith (Natwest Bank), Mel Crewe and Felicity Green (AWB Charlesworth Solicitors).

Women@Work was launched in 2012 to create a forum for professional women in the Aire Valley to meet together, share ideas and network. A different venue is selected for each event, with space for the event host or one of the guests to share their unique business stories and successes to date.

Robina Farnell hosted the professional women at the new Landrover Experience North Yorkshire premises. Off-road tracks have been created on areas of the Broughton Hall Estate and guests completed the ‘taster drive’ in groups after which they were welcomed back into the beautifully refurbished Yellison Farm buildings for lunch, a short presentation from Robina about the business, further refreshments and networking .

AWB Charlesworth’s Practice Manager Felicity Green says “This week’s Women@Work event at the North Yorkshire Landrover experience was, unsurprisingly, oversubscribed. The venue, hospitality and off-road experience provided a fabulous forum for our 25 guests to network, share ideas and support each other in business. Our thanks go to Robina Farnell and her wonderful team for hosting us.”

Following the event, NatWest’s Liz Smith commented The final event of 2015 proved a huge success with positive feedback from all attendees not only on the networking opportunities but also on the fantastic location and inspirational presentation from Robina. It is great to be able to provide this opportunity for women in the local business community to be able to get together & collaborate.”
