Women boost boardroom balance

Britain is helping to lead the way in promoting women to the boardroom, coming joint fifth in a global analysis of large companies.

Recent research found that 22.6% of board seats in UK companies are now held by women, up from 18.2% in 2012, taking UK plc a step towards hitting a government target of 25% by 2015.

While we don’t currently have the figure for Bradford, we could not ignore bringing this news to you due to having one of the District’s most respected and high-profile female chief executives.
