Technology students get Bradford boost

A new state-of-the-art £10 million Advanced Technology Centre for Bradford College will open in September.

Funded by the government’s Skills Funding Agency, the three-story building is near the college’s new David Hockney Building, just off Great Horton Road.

A College spokesman said: “The Centre offers opportunities to develop skills in advanced technologies such as robotics and 3D-printing. It will also provide a link and subsidised accommodation for established small businesses and start-ups.”

The ATC aims to be a leading centre in cutting edge courses and will support skills and knowledge development across in science, technology, engineering, arts and maths.
