2015 marks a decade of Spectrum. From humble beginnings, working from the kitchen table to a multi-million pound recruitment business, Neil Farrow founder and Managing Director now employs over sixty staff and boasts six Spectrum branches stretching from Scotland to Birmingham. , including an office at Silkwood Park Wakefield.
“Business planning and strategic development coupled with support from business growth organisations, has led to the expansion of our business. Spectrum has diversified into new areas of recruitment including rail and implemented a new “Training, Development and Apprenticeship” division,“ said Farrow MD.
Training, development and investing in local, young people is something that is very much part of the Spectrum culture which has developed over the past 10 years.
2014 saw the opening of Spectrums own training division providing qualifications, skills and knowledge to support job seekers and employers alike. This year will see the apprenticeship programme further developing with Spectrum investing in another class of Construction Apprentices.
Marking 10 years does allow companies time to reflect but Farrow is definitely more focused on the next 10 years and what the future has in store for his company and his ever-expanding team.
“Immediately we are planning more offices including Cambridgeshire and the South-East, we are set to increase our employees in excess of 30% over the next 12 months. 2016 will see the opening of a new head office in Salford, which will incorporate new training rooms along with more staff,” says Farrow.
“I see Spectrum in the next 10 years being recognised as the UKs leading multi-sectored recruitment business, with established offices through-out the UK. I believe we can achieve this. “
