Sadeh Lok are celebrating after retaining national recognition for its commitment to developing its employees.
The Huddersfield-based housing group – now part of the Incommunities Group – has been awarded the Investors in People (IiP) Gold status.
In order to achieve this, the organisation went through a rigorous assessment of its training and development practices, its operations and performance. This involved interviews with staff across the business.
The reaccreditation places Sadeh Lok among the top 7% of UK employers.
In their report the IiP assessor praised the ‘hugely impressive levels of energy, commitment and enthusiasm shown by staff at every level in the work they do’, adding that ‘the organisation continues to meet (and in many aspects exceed) the requirements of the Investors in People standard’.
Judith Crowther, Chair of the Sadeh Lok Board, said: “This is fabulous news which recognises the commitment of the whole Sadeh Lok team to work together to deliver the best services possible for our customers.
“We first achieved Gold status in 2013 and retaining this, particularly during a busy period of integration into the Incommunities Group, is a wonderful achievement.”
Geraldine Howley, Incommunities Group Chief Executive, said: “I would like to thank everyone at Sadeh Lok on striking Gold again!
“This reaccreditation reflects the energy, efforts and values of all staff to deliver excellence and to continue to put customers at the heart of everything they do. Well done.”
