A variety of services will be provided from the office strengthening the company’s existing offering throughout West Yorkshire, this to include commercial property agency and valuations, property management, property receivership and business & asset valuations and disposals.
The office will be headed up by commercial property partner Paul Diakiw, asset partner Allan Chapman and commercial property associate Jonathan O’Connor.
Regarding the move, Diakiw comments “Walker Singleton have a long established presence and client base in Bradford and the establishment of a dedicated office in the city centre will only help to build on this offering for clients both old and new”.
Diakiw has been with Walker Singleton for 23 years and brings a wealth of experience across the region to include a specialism in non-mainstream properties such as licensed & leisure and ecclesiastical premises. He is also a Registered Property Receiver dealing with hundreds of property receivership appointments across the country.
Chapman has 25 years of experience with the company providing niche advice in respect of the valuation and disposal of business assets and plant & machinery for private and corporate clients together with insolvency practitioners.
O’Connor joined Walker Singleton in 2012 having previously worked for 2 other Bradford surveying practices for over 12 years and has been involved with a significant proportion of the city’s commercial property offering over this period gaining invaluable knowledge and expertise of the local market.
O’Connor adds “Given the improving economy and the developments taking place in Bradford and the region as a whole, now is a great time for us to be building on our existing presence in the city to assist landlords and tenants in making Bradford an even greater place to do business”.
The new office, which is located at Bradford Business Park off Canal Road, adds to the company’s existing offices in Halifax and Huddersfield.
