One of Bradford’s leading firms of Chartered Accountants Watson Buckle has taken part in a unique partnership with Barclays Bank to assist the region’s business women.
The firm working with the bank’s Bradford branch hosted an informal ladies networking event at their offices, entitled ‘Unlocking your potential….Releasing your value’.
The well-attended event included a 30 minute presentation from successful leadership coach, Bev Lockwood from Unlocked Limited.
She discussed the barriers that served to prevent women reaching their full potential and provided practical tips on how to overcome them.
Susan Sedgwick, Managing Director at Watson Buckle, said: “Bradford has a lot of successful business women, many of whom have had to overcome quite significant obstacles to get where they are today.
“This event, organised with Barclays, provided an excellent opportunity for the region’s female peers to come together and learn more about how to unlock their potential.
“The feedback we have had from those who attended has been excellent and I am so glad that we were able to help so many local business leaders.”
The event was also a chance for some of Bradford’s leading female business minds to come together to enjoy lunch and share their successes with one and other.
