Fewer jobless in Bradford

The news that fewer people in Bradford are unemployed is welcome news – especially as it goes against last week’s national report.

ONS figures have revealed that the figure fell by 350 from May to June, bringing the local total to around 10,500.  Nationally, the figure rose for the first time in two years.  Unemployment levels are still not yet back to 2008 numbers but, even though the change is small, it is a welcome one.
