E3 Bradford, the local initiative that works to bridge the gap between businesses and education has received a generous donation from Sovereign Health Charitable Trust to help carry on their work in Bradford.
The £10,000 donation will mean E3 Bradford, which is supported by Bradford Chamber and Bradford Council, can continue to engage the business community in enterprise and employability activities with young people and run events like ‘Work Inspiration Week’ that enable local businesses to showcase their industry to young people from schools and colleges across the district. It will also enable the partnership to carry out important work to raise awareness of the benefits of employers taking on apprentices and trainees.
E3 Bradford chairman and President of Bradford Chamber, Paul Mackie said: “A huge thank you to Sovereign Health Charitable Trust for this generous donation. The money will go towards strengthening the connection we have already established with local schools and colleges and the business community. It means more young people will have the opportunity to interact and engage with business which we hope will create further interest in entrepreneurs, the business world and what can be achieved by themselves and for Bradford.”
Jan Fortune, Co-ordinator of Sovereign Health Care Charitable Trust said: “We are delighted to make this donation to E3 Bradford which we hope will contribute to supporting increased life chances and opportunities for young people in Bradford and help to broaden their thinking when it comes to career choices for the future.”
