David Ward MP will officially open a new eco-friendly business that is launching in Bradford.
The event will see Eco-Energy roll out its campaign to encourage people to get their homes ‘fit for the future’.
Eco-Energy, which is part of the family run Redmond Group that has been operating since 1997 and turns over around £5 million, will be a stand-alone business that provides a variety of heating solutions to consumers looking to improve the energy efficiency of their properties.
To coincide with the business opening its doors, a campaign called ‘is your home fit for the future’ has been launched to make homeowners aware of how they can reduce the amount of carbon emissions they produce, save money and ensure their property is the best it can be.
Scott Redmond, who is MD of Eco-Energy, explains more: “the reality is that the UK housing stock is behind many of its global competitors when it comes to how sustainable and cost effective it is. And not everybody is aware there are solutions and measures available that will not only help the environment and make a property more eco-friendly, but also reduce household bills.
“Eco-energy has been launched to provide a no-nonsense solution to this problem. It’s not about green buzzwords or short-term gains but informing homeowners how they can implement these solutions and what products and grants are available.”
Some of the solutions Eco-Energy can provide homeowners include underfloor heating, replacement boilers, central heating and air source heating exchanges.
To mark the launch of the business, Eco-Energy will be hosting an event at their offices on February 19 2015 that will be attended by business owners and senior leaders in the community.
David Ward, who is MP for Bradford East, will be attending the event and officially opening the new business.
He comments: “Ensuring the UK and its housing stock is the best it can be and sustainable is a big driver for the government. But without entrepreneurs and successful companies in the renewable sector like Eco-Energy innovating and delivering solutions, it would be a much more difficult task.
“I am looking forward to attending the official launch of the business.”
