Bradford Literature Festival: 20-29 May

Bradford Literature Festival takes place over 10 days in May, commencing on the 20th.

Poet Laureate Dame Carol Ann Duffy, Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain and the university’s professor of peace studies Paul Rogers are among the guest speakers.

There are 200 events, and 350 guest speakers, at various locations across the city.  Children’s events will be held in City Park on 21, 22, 28 and 29 May; several sessions will, of course, honour the Brontes; and former cabinet minister Baroness Sayeeda Warsi will speak about Muslim women and political life.

Full festival details can be found here.
