Bradford is to have a 10-day literature festival this month, bringing in speakers from many foreign countries.
Organisers say the festival has something for everyone: “With the literature festival spearheading Bradford’s cultural renaissance to complement the on-going economic regeneration, these are exciting times for the city.”
They hope the festival will be able to provide a neutral space for talking about difficult issues, whether it is about current affairs, politics, gender or how global conflicts make a local impact.
More details, including festival programme, available here.
The festival takes place 15-24 May.
