Plans to revamp the Oastler Centre in Bradford have been put on hold due to the closure of the Morrisons store.
The disappointing announcement follows the supermarket closure in April. It was expected that a £3.8 million redevelopment of the indoor market would take place this year and answer some of the concerns about the top end of the city centre.
Morrisons still rent the Westgate site from Bradford Council on a long-term lease, and are working with the landlord to identify new tenants.
